Resumo

Partindo do entendimento da cidade como um lugar polissémico, parcela de espaço e tempo proporcionador de aprendizagem quer através das suas infra- estruturas quer através das suas comunidades, analisa-se a capacidade da cidade como escola através dos programas de serviço educativo da Escola Superior de Educação (ESE/IPP) para poder em projetos de intervenção artística urbana da cidade do Porto, promovidos pela empresa municipal Porto Lazer. Reflete-se acerca de um sistema educativo integrado numa rede de parcerias fomentadoras da cultura, do conhecimento e da criação que constroem uma identidade socialmente participada e participativa.

Can the city be a school? – Educational Service ESE/Porto Lazer

Starting from the understanding of the city as a polysemous place a space and time proportion that provides learning through its infrastructures and through its communities, the capacity of the city as a school is analyzed through the educational service programs of the Escola Superior de Educação in projects of Porto´s urban artistic intervention, promoted by the municipal company Porto Lazer. It reflects on an educational system integrated in a network of partnerships fostering culture, knowledge and creation that build a socially participatory identity.
